Field Memorial Community Hospital (FMCH), established in 1928, is a 25 bed, government-owned critical access hospital located in Centreville, Mississippi. The hospital’s current facility was built in 1972. The hospital is owned by both Amite and Wilkinson Counties.
The NMTC proceeds were used to construct a new facility located at 178 Highway 24 in Centreville, MS. This facility is comprised of a one-story building with 62,520 square feet of space. It has 16 acute/sub-acute beds, two “flex beds” used for inpatient rehab services, one operating room, one endoscopy room, four emergency department beds, five imaging rooms, 12 clinic exam rooms, and all supporting ancillary services. FMCH is now able to provide state of the art services to its patients while doing so in a safe and efficient environment.
In addition to the hospital in Centerville, FMCH also owns and operates health clinics in rural Mississippi in Centerville, Woodville, and Gloster.
