Responsible for developing, establishing and maintaining brand consistency to meet organizational and market-specific objectives, while serving as a brand advocate to ensure all collateral is cohesive and aligned with the overall look and feel of the organization across all markets.


Research: Research and report on emerging industry-related trends, and best practices to increase market growth. Perform market research on current initiatives, market opportunities and competitors. Strategy: Analyze, develop and implement strategies for Trustmark’s brand and in-branch digital signage to enhance/grow/support Trustmark’s business initiatives. Analyze the perception of the brand per market, such as, the experience that consumers have with the brand and their connection with the service to build brand equity. Make decisions related to creative and content of projects, strategy and alignment of projects, product positioning, concentration and knowledge of target audiences, messaging and branding. Implement: Build strong relationships with business unit partners, including compliance and cross functional SMEs to brainstorm, plan and accomplish deliverables efficiently to ensure marketing plans, media and campaign strategy are aligned with best practices to support corporate goals and initiatives. Implement an Asset Management Portal to ensure point-of-purchase-materials (POP) are being displayed accurate and correctly in each Trustmark location. Develop high quality data within the AMP system to enhance decision making in regards to branch facilities maintenance, marketing distribution, content management, interior/exterior signage tracking, security, and compliance matters. Develop training on brand placement and guidelines for business units. Lead brand project initiatives across all elements with a focus on key areas that directly influence the success of the business, including forecasting, inventory levels, packaging, point of sale, and sales collateral materials. Work with internal and external creative resources to develop packaging, promotion plans and materials that support key marketing initiatives, delivered on time and on budget. Socialize, educate and reinforce Marketing processes and brand standards to business units. Provide guidance and direction creating tactical strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and creating services to guide executable campaigns. Review and recommend changes to improve usability of dashboards and performance data to better support recommendations and provide additional transparency to business units. Monitor: Drive brand awareness by testing new techniques, analyzing performance data, and shifting resources to top performing elements. Complete key business analyses including: marketplace/share, competitive assessment, volume builds, capacity assessment, promotion evaluation, pricing/sizing analysis, and market research analysis and implications. Review and understand market by market needs on a regional level, by retail or business demand, demographic and product/service focus. Report: Present recommendation to internal and executive teams as needed, disseminate learnings on a regular basis across the organization. Research and report on emerging trends and best practices. Manage Trustmark’s digital in-branch signage messaging, including managing design and placement of digital content on the screen; serves as backup with regards to strategy for placement, budgeting, design, implementation and maintenance of in-branch digital systems. Manage digital imagery for Trustmark, including photography and videography (i.e.departmental videos, product demos, associate and/or market/line of business photos, etc.)


Strong knowledge of corporate structure and culture Strong knowledge and understanding of corporate initiatives Strong knowledge and understanding of digital communication strategies, processes and/or channels Advanced knowledge in word usage, grammar, sentence structure and paragraph formation Strong comprehension of financial/analytical aspects of public company operations and their relative significant as it relates to corporate communications Strong comprehension of regulatory processes policies and procedures relative to financial branding Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to communicate effectively and coherently with all levels of associates and external audiences Solid project management skills Ability to discern confidentiality, urgency and importance of information distribution Ability to multi-task Ability to be flexible in all situations Excellent organizational skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with a team Ability to learn and adapt to new and changing environments In-Depth experience with PC-based word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet programs (i.e. Words, Excel, PowerPoint) Some experience or functional knowledge with Graphic editing programs (i.e. InDesign, Illustrator) Four year college degree required, with marketing or communications-related degree preferred 5+ years experience preferred Experience working for a financial institution is preferred. Prior experience demonstrating strong communication skills
