The position serves as a strategic, proactive partner to one or more departments to ensure the alignment of departmental business objectives with talent management strategies.

  • Identify talent management and workforce needs within the assigned department; design and recommend effective strategies in furtherance of those needs and department and organizational goals
  • Educate the leadership team about HR policies, programs, and standards
  • Effectuates change management by being knowledgeable and communicating effectively
  • Coach managers to ensure consistent execution of procedures and policies
  • Assists with organizational design and succession planning
  • Identify trends, labor risks, and opportunities for improvement within assigned departments
  • Help to design and implement employee engagement action plans
  • Analyzes data and provides a summary of observations for various management and decision-making uses, including identifying trends and gaps in the data
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
  • Four Year college degree or equivalent business-related experience
  • Five plus years of experience with multiple HR disciplines: talent management, compensation and benefits, employment laws (federal and state) performance management, change management, and organizational effectiveness
  • Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and analytic capability
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships at all levels
  • Ability to influence change across the organization
  • Ability to train, lead and direct the work of others
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations as appropriate
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills; attention to details
  • ย Human Resources certification preferred
