The purpose of the position is to evaluate, design, construct, and maintain data stores for enterprise data warehousing and provide guidance for the integration processes for collecting, sharing, and securing enterprise data.  The position oversees the operational processes that capture, store, and share information in the enterprise data warehouses.

  • Determines database structural requirements through the analysis of client or internal operations, applications, and programming.
  • Reviews goals and objectives with clients or internal users and evaluates current systems to coordinate and develop data processes, ensuring data consistency and integration with existing or new data warehouse structures.
  • Develops database systems utilizing flowcharts, applying optimum access techniques, coordinating installation actions, and providing for technical documentation.
  • Reviews and coordinates business requests for data collection and data utilization.
  • Research data sources to update or create data feeds and assists in continuous process improvement efforts to enhance data processing performance and increase data usability.
  • May be responsible for developing and conducting training for clients and internal customers.
  • Competency to perform as a high-level specialist who regularly interacts and works with senior management.
  • Competency and capability to perform work independently and within a team structure.
  • Relevant data or Computer Science bachelor's degree or equivalent certification.
  • Eight (8) or more years of Data Warehouse experience.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Project scheduling skills.
  • Advanced technical expertise with data processing and data warehouse tools.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Master’s degree relevant to data or computer sciences or equivalent certification preferred.
