The purpose of this job is to provide full service banking with a superior level of hands-on contact to the high income, high net worth clients. This is accomplished through the extension of credit but also includes sales of all bank related retail products and cross sales of insurance, trust, and investment products.
Thorough knowledge of Private Banking and the bank financial products and services Knowledge of deposit and loan products, as well as bank policy Knowledge of document preparation and new accounts systems Thorough knowledge of negotiable instruments Complete understanding of the requirements of properly securing a loan Advanced knowledge of state and federal regulations and bank policies relating to credit Knowledge of sales principles Superior judgment in making loan decisions Experience dealing with sophisticated clientele Experience in recognizing and handling troubled loans and problem customers Thorough knowledge and understanding of loan and deposit debits and credits Strong analytical ability Advanced interpersonal skills Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills Proven ability to build relationships Customer contact and sales and service skills Ability to lead the work of others Four-year college education Bank branch work preferred 7 years banking experience or related work experience to include previous lending experience (preferably commercial lending) Previous investment experience with 6/63 licensure preferred
