Candidate Qualifications

 

  • Enrolled in a four-year or MBA program and classified as a junior or higher
  • Enrolled in one of the following undergraduate majors: Business Information Systems, Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • Basic programming skills in C++, C, Python, HTML
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Demonstrated, strong work ethic
  • Proven leadership skills through academic performance, work experience and campus involvement

Upon graduation, co-op students may be hired as a Technical Development Associate. Advancement opportunities include:

Program Requirements

 

  • The Co-op Program is held in Jackson, MS and requires a 3-semester commitment: Spring, Summer and Fall
  • Start dates are January and June
  • Students have the option to complete the first rotation during June-December, with a second rotation completed in either a fall or spring semester
  • Students starting their first rotation in January will work through the summer, and their second rotation can be completed during a Fall or Spring semester
  • Some schools require students to complete Spring, Summer and Fall semesters to qualify for Co-op credit for the school
